Cricket Without Boundaries
Cricket Without Boundaries works around the world to grow the game of cricket, while using the sport as a platform for health education and social change, and empowering communities.
In Africa we work with national cricket bodies to support local coaching ambassadors in several countries, and twice a year try to send teams of our volunteers to work with them. We visit as many children as we can, introducing them to cricket, and including vital messaging on areas such as HIV prevention, gender equality and removing stigma. Most important of all, our sessions are great fun, and include everyone.
Recently we have used our integrated learning techniques on refugee projects, partnering with Right to Play and the UNHCR in Jordan, to promote communication, teamwork and collaboration.
We are based in the UK, run by the enthusiasm of our volunteers, and we have no boundaries. Ever.
Our mission statement
To use cricket for social and community benefit, with a focus on equality and inclusion.
